The Lakes Valley Conference has posted rosters and a championship bracket for girls volleyball, and both Farmington programs are on the board.
The LVC's 2026-27 girls volleyball page went live Friday, Aug. 21, listing all 12 member schools, with active roster links posted for five of them so far, and publishing the 2026 LVC Championships Tournament Bracket. Farmington and North Farmington will compete against Lakeland, Livonia Churchill, Livonia Franklin, Livonia Stevenson, Milford, South Lyon, South Lyon East, Walled Lake Central, Walled Lake Northern and Walled Lake Western.
Farmington Falcons: senior-heavy roster
Head coach Dan Engelhardt's varsity squad lists 16 players, eight of them seniors. That class includes libero Maggie Hukill, outside hitters Riley Manikowski and Paige Williams, setter Grace Lamott, defensive specialist Ella Erickson, right-side hitter Rachel Hibbs, and middles Sophia Porterfield and Claire Quin.
The underclass group rounds out the roster: juniors Sophia Pirog (setter), Claire Pincheck (setter), Lizzie Barr (middle) and Jadan Kuderka (DS); and sophomores Kushi Kanumuri (DS), Evie Tewilliager (OH), Lexie Engelhardt (RS) and Autumn Avant (OH).
The roster PDF carries a “WORK IN PROGRESS” label, so additions or changes remain possible before conference play begins.
North Farmington Raiders: already in action
North Farmington is listed among the 12 LVC volleyball programs, though the Raiders' varsity roster PDF was not yet active on the conference site. The team's varsity squad opened 0-2, falling in straight sets to Walled Lake Western (25-21, 25-19) and Utica Eisenhower (25-19, 25-14) in non-conference play Saturday, Aug. 22, according to LVC results. The JV squad also took the court, hosting Regina (Warren) in a non-conference match Tuesday, Aug. 25, at 5 p.m., according to MaxPreps scheduling data.
The bracket
The LVC Championships Tournament Bracket is published on the conference site, though seedings and specific matchup pairings have not yet been populated. Once filled, it will map the path to a conference title for both local squads.
The regular-season conference schedule is posted, though: both squads open crossover play Sept. 8, with North Farmington hosting Walled Lake Northern and Farmington hosting South Lyon East. Division matchups follow through Oct. 13, ahead of the LVC Championships on Oct. 15 and the LVC Tournament on Oct. 24.
